Phase Portraits is an application, which draws phase portraits of simple second-order autonomous dynamic systems.
After providing the matrix in its canonical Jordan form, or selecting one of the predefined common matrices (Star Point, Spiral Point, Saddle Point, Node, Improper Node, Center), the application displays the portrait.The result may be displayed in two modes: time variant and time invariant.
The first one allows to manually enter initial conditions and then animates their trajectories.
The time invariant mode draws the portrait in a form of static velocity vectors.
